A selection of more than 170 table, home decoration and fashion pieces are part of the items created by artisans from the north coast of Colombia.
For Maison & Objet in january 2023, Artesanías del Atlántico will have a special exhibition of decorative and fashion pieces created by artisans from the north coast of Colombia. The handmade created, from natural fibers with versatile, contemporary designs, are the result of a sustainable and socially responsible process.
The Artesanías del Atlántico exhibition, located in the Unique and Eclectic- stand O17, will feature a segment of designs containing different accessories such as totes, bags and mochilas, among other pieces from the ‘Algarabía’ and ‘Carnaval’ collections.
For tableware, you can find placemats, napkin rings and sculptures, with versions in raw tones and colors in trend. In this exhibition, the versatility the richness of combining materials are exalted, in a diversity of more than 12 ancestral techniques. Decorative items in materials such as wood, upcycled plastic, fique and iraca, are part of the artisanal sample exhibited at the fair.
In this portfolio, the brand shows its top seller products, full of high quality, perfect finishes and the potential to mix with textures and materials. The most valued thing, is the story behind each product and the impact it has for the 560 artisans who benefit from the initiative.
Artesanías del Atlántico´s consecutive participation in Maison & Objet has made it possible to generate a greater impact in the artisanal communities through the relationship with clients in United States, Europe, Asia and the United Arab Emiraties among others.
